Add a new Role and assign it to a New User

The below steps will take you through adding a new user and role which only has access to specified sections of your CMSDesk area:

  • Login to the CMS Desk
  • Clic on the Administration Tab then Click on Roles
  • add a New Role
  • Then click Permissions on th left menu
  • Tick or untick the permissons for each section of the site for the new role you just added (you select each section of the site in the dropdown, you will want to untick permissions for every part of your site except Newsletters)
  • Then click on Users in the left menu and add a new user. When the new user has been added click on the Roles tab for that user and make sure you assing the new role you have just added to the user.
